Payments for wholesale export orders

Get paid before the first order ships to a new buyer abroad.

When a new wholesale buyer in another country places their first order, you have no history with them and the goods are about to leave your hands. Send one link for the pro forma invoice, and ship once it is paid. Your buyer pays from their own wallet, and stablecoins settle to a wallet you control. Buyers you already trust on account can keep paying the way they do now. This is for the order you want paid in advance.

Before you read on: we publish every business type we take and every one we refuse — 28 we take, 11 we refuse.

Why this is harder than it looks

A new buyer, a large order, and goods about to leave.

A buyer with no track record

A first order from a new overseas buyer comes with no payment history to lean on.

Ask for payment in advance: send the pro forma invoice as a link, with its number as the description. Every link is a single payment of a fixed amount.

Pallets and containers, not parcels

A wholesale order is large, and once it ships it is hard to bring back.

Release the goods once the link is paid. Settlement reaches your wallet after the required network confirmations.

Every order is different

Repeat orders come with their own quantities and prices.

Send a new link for each order or invoice. Zoyn keeps no card on file and charges nothing automatically.

Export orders settle to a wallet only you control.

Two limits worth knowing. If your own account with us is under review, automatic payouts pause until that is resolved. And a buyer paying by card can be declined, or asked to prove who they are, before the money is sent — a payment that doesn't happen, never money taken back from you afterwards.

How it works

Invoice first, payment next, then the goods.

1

Agree the order and your terms

Your terms say what is being shipped, the price, when it is paid, and when it leaves.

2

Send the pro forma invoice as a link

Your buyer pays from their own wallet, or by card where available — buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks.

3

The payment reaches your wallet

After the required network confirmations, in the currency the link was set in.

Common questions

What an exporter asks first.

Can I give the buyer 30 days to pay?

A link is a payment made now, not credit. Buyers you trust on account can keep paying the way they already do.

Is there a limit on the order size?

Limits depend on the payment method, the buyer's country, the provider and verification. A card payment can be declined, or the buyer asked to prove who they are, before it is sent.

The buyer says the goods arrived damaged.

Your terms with the buyer decide what is owed. Returning any of it is a payment you send back yourself. Zoyn has no refund button.

Which goods does this suit?

Wholesale sellers of goods such as building materials, hardware, plumbing and heating supplies, timber and commercial uniforms. The check near the top of this page links to every business type we take and every one we refuse.

What does it cost me?

A percentage of each payment, agreed with you in writing before you go live: crypto payments start at 0.75%, and card payments, if your business can take them, have a separate, higher price. No monthly platform fee and no setup fee. Network fees, and any extra charge for how your customer pays, are separate. Your customer pays them on top of your price and sees their total before they pay.

Will you take my wholesale business?

We publish every business type we take and every one we refuse, and every application is reviewed before it goes live. We don't promise a timeline we can't keep.

Moving the goods for someone else? Read the page for freight forwarders. Taking a deposit rather than the full order? Read about deposits from overseas clients. Not sure we'd take your business? See exactly how we decide.

Zoyn is software. It is not a bank, a payment processor, a payment gateway, a money transmitter or a money services business. Zoyn is never the seller in a sale (the "merchant of record"). Zoyn never holds a shop's money, and does not decide how long a payment company may hold it. When a customer pays by card or bank, the payment company handles that payment under its own terms and may hold it for a short time. The money then goes to the shop's own payment contract once the payment network has confirmed it.

Businesses can be based in 64 jurisdictions. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. Customers can pay from 130+ countries through the checkout providers we connect to; which countries customers can pay from is set by those providers, not by Zoyn, and may change without notice. Not available in sanctioned jurisdictions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
