Payments for wedding and event florists

The date is booked a year ahead. The deposit should be too.

Wedding and event florists turn other bookings away for one date, then buy the stems in the last week. Send one link for the deposit when the couple confirms and one for the balance before the day, and stablecoins settle to a wallet you control.

Before you read on: we publish every business type we take and every one we refuse — 28 we take, 11 we refuse.

Why this is harder than it looks

A date far away, flowers that change, and a balance before the day.

The date is booked months ahead

A couple books you for a date next year, and you turn other weddings away for it.

Send one link for the deposit when they confirm, with the order number as the description. Every link is a single payment of a fixed amount.

Flowers change with the season

A bloom in the mood board may not be available on the day, and a swap can turn into an argument.

Put what may be swapped in your written quote. Both links carry the same order number, so each payment points back to the order the couple agreed.

The balance is due before the day

You buy the stems and build the pieces in the last week, so the balance has to be paid first.

Send the balance as its own link when it is due. Zoyn keeps no card on file and charges nothing automatically, so nothing is taken without the couple paying the link.

Deposits and balances settle to a wallet only you control.

Two limits worth knowing. If your own account with us is under review, automatic payouts pause until that is resolved. And a buyer paying by card can be declined, or asked to prove who they are, before the money is sent — a payment that doesn't happen, never money taken back from you afterwards.

How it works

A deposit for the date, then the balance.

1

Agree the quote and the date

Your quote says what the deposit is, when the balance is due, and what may be swapped.

2

Send the deposit link, then the balance link

The couple pays from their own wallet, or by card where available — buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks.

3

The payment reaches your wallet

After the required network confirmations, in the currency the link was set in.

Common questions

What a wedding florist asks first.

Can the balance be charged automatically before the wedding?

No. Zoyn keeps no card on file and charges nothing automatically. The balance is its own link, which you send when it is due.

The couple wants to add table flowers later.

Quote the extra pieces and send them as their own link. Every link is a single payment of a fixed amount.

The wedding was called off. What happens to the deposit?

Your terms decide what is owed. A deposit taken this way is a full payment, not a card hold, so returning any of it is a payment you send back yourself. Zoyn has no refund button.

I run an everyday flower shop. Is this for me?

It can be. Send one link for each order, for example a delivery ordered by phone for someone in another country. Each order is its own link, and nothing repeats.

What does it cost me?

A percentage of each payment, agreed with you in writing before you go live: crypto payments start at 0.75%, and card payments, if your business can take them, have a separate, higher price. No monthly platform fee and no setup fee. Network fees, and any extra charge for how your customer pays, are separate. Your customer pays them on top of your price and sees their total before they pay.

Will you take my florist business?

We publish every business type we take and every one we refuse, and every application is reviewed before it goes live. We don't promise a timeline we can't keep.

Zoyn is software. It is not a bank, a payment processor, a payment gateway, a money transmitter or a money services business. Zoyn is never the seller in a sale (the "merchant of record"). Zoyn never holds a shop's money, and does not decide how long a payment company may hold it. When a customer pays by card or bank, the payment company handles that payment under its own terms and may hold it for a short time. The money then goes to the shop's own payment contract once the payment network has confirmed it.

Businesses can be based in 64 jurisdictions. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. Customers can pay from 130+ countries through the checkout providers we connect to; which countries customers can pay from is set by those providers, not by Zoyn, and may change without notice. Not available in sanctioned jurisdictions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
