Payments for private jet and charter aviation

Quote a specific aircraft and route. Take the deposit or the full charter fee, fast.

On-demand private jet charter, empty-leg and repositioning flights, corporate and group charter, helicopter and turboprop brokers, and time-critical air ambulance charter all take large, one-off payments from a client the operator has often never billed before. Settle stablecoins straight to a wallet you control, with no card-network chargebacks on wallet payments. For card payments, your payment provider handles card disputes with the cardholder's bank.

Why this trade gets flagged

A large payment from a first-time client is exactly the shape a fraud model is built to stop.

A five- or six-figure payment, agreed by phone, for a flight in days

A charter is quoted and confirmed fast, for a specific tail number and date, often with very little time between the quote and the flight — and the client paying is frequently in a different country from the operator or broker arranging it.

Clients can pay from their own wallet, or by card where available through integrated global on-ramp bridges — buyer eligibility depends on country, payment method, provider, and compliance checks. Settlement reaches your wallet after the required network confirmations, so a fast-moving quote does not have to wait on a slow payment.

A substituted aircraft or a weather delay becomes a dispute after the flight

The confirmed tail number is swapped for another aircraft, a departure slips for weather, or a crew change alters the flight — and a client who feels short-changed disputes the charter fee weeks later, long after the flight and the payment both looked settled.

The client pushes the payment, and Zoyn does not reverse a settled transfer, so wallet payments produce no card-network chargebacks and no ratio to defend. Your own charter agreement governs substitutions and delays, together with the consumer law that applies to you. Zoyn has no refund button: any refund you owe is a payment you send from your own wallet. Card- or bank-funded checkout can still be subject to the provider's own dispute rules. For card payments, your payment provider handles card disputes with the cardholder's bank.

A large one-off payment from a client you've never billed before

A large payment from a first-time client is unusual by design in most trades — in charter aviation it is close to every booking, because very few clients charter the same route twice in a month.

Each charter is its own fixed-amount payment link, priced and sent by you against the confirmed quote, and settlement reaches your wallet after the required network confirmations.

How it works

One charter link, priced against the confirmed quote.

1

Create the charter link

Fixed amount, with the tail number, route and date as the description. Send it the moment the quote is confirmed.

2

The client pays

Card where available in their country, or from their own wallet.

3

The money lands in your wallet

After the required network confirmations, in the currency the link was set in.

Common questions

What an operator or broker asks first.

Can I take a deposit to hold the aircraft and the balance before departure?

Yes — as two links, each a fixed amount. Every link is a single payment; there is no repeat or automatic billing behind it.

Every charter is a different aircraft, route and price — is that a problem?

No. Each link carries its own amount, set by you when you create it, worked out from that quote.

Can I take payments on my own web address?

Yes — the checkout can run on your own payment address.

A client disputes the fee weeks after the flight — what happens to the payment?

Zoyn is software. It is not a bank, a payment processor, a payment gateway, a money transmitter or a money services business. Zoyn is never the seller in a sale (the "merchant of record"). Zoyn never holds a shop's money, and does not decide how long a payment company may hold it. When a customer pays by card or bank, the payment company handles that payment under its own terms and may hold it for a short time. The money then goes to the shop's own payment contract once the payment network has confirmed it.

Businesses can be based in 64 jurisdictions. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. Customers can pay from 130+ countries through the checkout providers we connect to; which countries customers can pay from is set by those providers, not by Zoyn, and may change without notice. Not available in sanctioned jurisdictions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
