Payout wallet and Checkout account

Changing your payout wallet

Owner-only, deliberate, and done in one step.

Changing your payout wallet happens in one step: Zoyn checks the new address, then moves your settlement to it. Your payment links and printed QR codes keep working and pay the new wallet.

Making the change

  1. Go to Money and payouts (owner only).
  2. Enter the new address and re-type it to confirm — this guards against paste errors, which cannot be undone on the payment network.
  3. Optionally add a reason for your own audit trail.

What happens next

Nothing else — there is no support ticket and no separate redeploy to schedule. Once the address is checked, settlement moves to the new wallet, and new payments settle toward it. If the Wallet page ever shows the address on file and the active payment contract differing, the banner on that page explains what is happening.

Practical advice

  • Keep the old wallet accessible until the new contract is active and you have seen a payment settle through it.
  • Use a wallet only you control on Base, not one an exchange or another company holds for you. Avoid exchange deposit addresses: payments sent to them from a payment contract can be lost.
  • Every change request is written to your audit trail.

Legal & regulatory disclosures

Zoyn is software. It is not a bank, a payment processor, a payment gateway, a money transmitter or a money services business. Zoyn is never the seller in a sale (the "merchant of record"). Zoyn never holds a shop's money, and does not decide how long a payment company may hold it. When a customer pays by card or bank, the payment company handles that payment under its own terms and may hold it for a short time. The money then goes to the shop's own payment contract once the payment network has confirmed it.

Businesses can be based in 64 jurisdictions. A US state stays open when at least one checkout partner still serves buyers there. Customers can pay from 130+ countries through the checkout providers we connect to; which countries customers can pay from is set by those providers, not by Zoyn, and may change without notice. Not available in sanctioned jurisdictions: Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, and the Crimea, Donetsk, and Luhansk regions of Ukraine.
